Two more from New York....

I found two more pictures I wanted to post from our trip.  My FAVORITE IS THIS ONE WITH THE ICE CREAM.  We ordered this dessert called the "Titantic" and it was massive loads of icecream and stuff.  An enormous sunday I guess.  The kids were in heaven and loved it.  And they didn't even get sick (believe it or not)!

So miss thing loves her dress up..pretty much  every day we go through a few outfits.  She has fun so no complaints here!!

Uh Oh...

So Mikey's crib was part of the crib recall that was in the news last week. Yikes! It's lasted us this long and has too a little longer until we get a new crib. The one we want is on back order... hopefully it will come in within a few weeks.

I'm having nausea pretty much all morning and on and off through the day. ONLY 6 more weeks, right? Ugh. I've been taking a little nap while Mikey naps in the AM so I can make it through the day. Where does he get all this energy?

Wow!  I think I might have finally figured out how to upload Jasmine's digital camera pictures!  So here are some shots of NYC! We loved every single minute of that place.  Exploring the first day was so fun, especially when we found the three story Toys R Us shop with a ferris wheel inside!  Then we wandered down to Central Park and could have spent days there.  We also went to the Empire State building and Jason had bought the "fast pass" to get to the head of all the lines, which ended up being soooooooooo worth it!  The lines were so long there!  But looking out over the city was so amazing! Of course my favorite was when we took the Staten Island Ferry and went past the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.  I plan on going INSIDE Ellis Island next time around.  Three days there is not long enough.  Next time!

Eli graduated from pre-school! Yeah! Kindergarten is next - scary how time flies! Darius sort-of graduated from 1st grade. Let's just say we'll be A LOT of work over the summer to get him ready for 2nd grade!

We have started to try different foods now. Marley is quite the greedy one, and is so ready for more than just breast milk and cereal. I tried to feed her with a spoon and she cut a fit! So, the little princess won this battle and got to drink her veggies. Pick your battles, right?

So, you all know how I married into a family full of WONDERFUL cooks...no pressure, right? So, not only do Dana & Kirstynn cook delicious fancy food that I sometimes cannot pronounce...now Kirstynn is taking pictures of her food! So much for chicken & rice for dinner! I got a lot to live up to. You should check out her blog & see some of her creations! She is really good at making the food, and capturing how fabulous it is on camera! So these shots are for you Ms. Evans!

So Tanya and Bianca came over to visit today. Can you believe that B is almost 3? Crazy. She is so grown. We had so much fun with them! We got to play outside, order Thai food, and have a campfire with smores...yummy!

It worked?!

So, as Kirstynn tells me, this is a blogging moment. I started my garden after Memorial Day & now we have results...radish-es (is that a word?)! I am so proud of it. They are really spicy, so I don't like them, but hey...I grew them on my own...how cool is that?

Rumors are True...

Mikey's going to be a Big Brother! It's still very early... 5-6 weeks. We're really excited!!! The baby will be due some time mid-February. We're going to the doctor in a few weeks for our first pre-natal visit. Until then, we're hoping everyone remains healthy. I'll tell Mikey to kiss the baby and he'll lift my shirt and kiss my tummy.

It was worth it?

So, now that Marley is flipping and rolling...we have run into a few new problems. One day when I put her down for her nap she was hollering up a storm, so I decided to check on her after her screams kept getting louder. So I went in to find her on her tummy with her leg stuck out one of the slots in the crib. Poor baby girl. I felt bad & she got a bruise from it. Yikes. So, despite what my doctor suggested, I went ahead and put up the oh-so-cute bumper that T-money gave me! We love it! It is super girly, yet same colors as Michigan (Go Blue). Auntie Tracy, Marley loves it! Thanks so so so much!

Power, finally

Well, after being out of power for almost a week, I think things are finally back to normal now. Let me tell you how not easy it is taking care of two kids & a grandma Polly with no power. Generators are nice when they work, but that is a long story that requires alcohol to get through it! haha Mattson shaved his beard, which I sometimes miss. Ky is crazy as ever, always asking me a question about something. Sometimes I cannot take it. I want to run to my room & lock the door. Such is life. Marley found her feet & can flip and roll all over the place. She is funny...still fiesty, but funny. We hope that everyone had a nice Fathers Day! Love you all.

Eli had a "pre-school prom" today. They're starting younger and younger, huh!? Charlise is always posing for pictures now. She's a ham!

Summer Time

So London really likes her princess dress up box Matt got her....go figure!  She loves to eat frozen gogourgts outside.  I am getting really close to haven the baby.  I am already 3 cem. and still have 3 weeks left...we will see how long I really go.

Hi everyone...I miss you all like CRAZY!  Today is the first day I got to just do NADA!  We went to church and came home and hung out, just me and Jazzy today.  Yesterday the pool party went great with the primary.  Then Jason got back in town.  But, funny story, before he got back in town, I thought he would be home early enough to mow the lawn, clean the pool, and fix up the backyard. So I was watching some tv on friday night and some crazy person rang my doorbell and ran away at 11pm.  I opened the door to find my entire yard covered in toilet paper.  I was ticked off, so I left it there.  An hour and a half later, I went outside and cleaned it up.  So I woke up in the morning to a text from Jason saying he wouldn't be home until noon...so I ran outside to open the pool cover and get the lawn mower out.  Luckily, I stubborn pool cover opened, and our lame ole lawnmower had gas in it.  Jazzy and I got it all taken care of just in time for the party.  Good stuff!  These are some pictures I just downloaded....Jasmine with her teacher on the last day of school; Ross at his Court of Honor; and Jasmine at her school "Lock in" a week ago.  

Dirty Camping Meal

We just got back from camping on the beach for two day. Dirty, dirty, dirty! But we all had a great time! Totally sun burnt, so we're going to bed early tonight.

ALMOST DONE

I am almost done with school!  I am so excited.  I will probably crash come monday morning and I don't have to get up early to go to work.  I was going to sleep in all saturday, but turns out I have the whole primary coming over to our house for an "End of the Year Swimming Party" for a few hours saturday morning.  Good stuff!  Erica finally had her baby and he is so completely cute!   I spent a few hours over there at the hospital today.  Baby Nathan weighs 7 lbs. 10 ounces.  Small and tiny guy.  Tomorrow is our last day at school.  I am so mixed with emotion....love it, hate it, don't know what to feel.  Meanwhile, Jasmine made it to the third round of our class's American Idol singing.  She was a little upset when she didn't make it to the fourth, but she will recover.  She is a good sport.  Jason is out of town, again.  He is going to come home for one day this week then head out again.  Then next week the kids and I are flying to meet him in New York City. He has a business meeting close to there, so we are going to make a vacation of it.  I am so looking forward to Jamie having her baby!  I miss you all so dang much.  Love, Tracy

Marley is greedy...

Here are so recent pictures...First there is my sexy tan man with MJ. I think she is looking more like me now, sorry Matt! Yesterday we had a hot day, so we broke out the swim suits and slip-n-slide. Ky was so cute in his suit, me...not so much. I am working on it, I swear! The slip-n-slide says "NO ADULTS. For kids ages 5-12." I should have listened. There was nothing right about me being on that thing yesterday! The last two pictures are of Marley drinking her cereal. She is weird/funny. I cannot get the cereal in her mouth fast enough. If I take that bowl away from her she cries, then is silent when she gets it back in her mouth. I have never seen anything like this! Funny child.
