Happy Halloween!!!

Ahhhhhh, my computer is finally working!  It has been like two weeks since my special internet has been down or REALLY slow, and now it is okay.  I am so happy.  You don't know how much you use it until you CAN'T for such a period of time.  Thank goodness it is back.  It has been one crazy Halloween week!  We had our church Trunk or Treat on tuesday night which was really fun but wore me the heck out!  We had booths and cake walks in the gym and after that, a costume contest, then trunk or treating.  Luckily our primary was only in charge of two booths, so we had it pretty easy.  Jason and Ross didn't dress up that night, but by the trunk or treat time, Ross had found someone with fake blood to put on his face and shirt.  He is definitly in the teen years with not caring about a costume at all.  Jasmine however, was all about it and had a rough time finding an "appropriate" costume in her size.  Even all the teenage costumes were "hoochie" which is now her new favorite word to say.  I finally agreed to a little girls ladybug costume, and after she got it on, she looked pretty cute, yet grown up.  Crap.  What can ya do.  Today Jason is off to do a charity halloween thing with his work all day.  Ross and his Mom's family have taken off to Disneyland for the Halloween fun there and tonight Jasmine and I and Jason will yes, go from door to door and trick or treat.  Our good friends Nita and her daughter Madeline will be with us.  I so wish I could see all my nieces and nephews tonight in their little costumes.  NO FAIR!  Miss you all.

We LOVED having Mom come and visit! The kids had so much fun with her! Neither Jarom nor I wanted her to go! COME BACK!!!!
We tried to show her the fun parts of Cali, so maybe she and Dad will move out west - someday. (Then how do we get the other MI people out here, too, Alie & Joni?!)
The kids still ask where Grammy is. I took her to crazy Venice Beach one day, but I forgot my camera - dangit. She's got some good ones from it, though. We were just relieved we made it out of there alive. Some CRAZY nutcases there.

We had a great visist with her...she is truly the best grandmas ever. Zac miss her too. So our house is under contract and they want to close on the 27th!! Keep is in your prayers that everything will go OK and i don't killmyself in the process!

Ky & Marley update

Call the suicide watch off, we are doing good! :) Matt will be coming home next week, the thought of that alone sooths my nerves. Ky turned 5 on September 27th, and I have NO pictures to show for it! How lame. Am I turning into Shelby or what? Since we went to Disney for his birthday, we kept it low key on his actual b-day. We left Marley with PaPa and took off to see a movie with LuLu & the other PaPa. Then, before bed, we had cake. It was pretty cool, we stuck Darth Vader & Hans Solo on the top of it. Oh, I did put streamers up in the kitchen for decoration. When Ky walked in and saw it, he said, "This is the party I always wanted." He is funny, and apparently easy to please.

Ky is doing good in school. He LOVES it! I am not sure how I feel about what he is learning on the bus though... He got off the other day and said to me, "Mom, do you know how you get a girl to talk to you?" WHAT? What girl? Little skank. I am NOT ready for him to grow up!

Marley just had her 9 month check up. She cried through the whole thing, big surprise. She is teething, I think. She is still all gums, but I think I can see some teeth trying to make their way through. Plus, she is SO SO fussy...so it must be her teeth? Anyways, she was 17lbs and 27 inches long. That puts her in the 20 percentile for her age. So, she is a petite little thing. Whatev. She has been able to crawl for awhile, but chooses other methods to get around. Rolling is a lot faster, so she usually just rolls to get where she wants to be. She is funny. She is eating table foods & loving it. We just feed her whatever we are having for the meal. She loves to feed herself too, though she only gets about 70% of it in her mouth...the rest goes to the dog Mazo.

Last week we got to visit with our friends who were in town. Here are some pics of the kids playing together. We love baby Zoie, she is so sweet and so beautiful. Her parents have done a great job raising her!

THANKS GOODNESS for jumpers at birthday parties! Inexpensive ways to entertain your kids on the weekends! (as long as its not our birthday party) Love it!

Getting Back to Normal...

What the heck.  I still have no pictures to post because I am LAME with no camera.  I am still relying on using Jasmine's whenever very necessary.  I need to change that for sure.  Jason and Ross just got back tonight from a one day camping trip.  They left at about 8:30pm last night and went about four hours from Vegas.  They were hoping to "find" a campground, but no luck.  They got up into the mountains and it was cold and about to snow.  They ended up sleeping in the car parked on a dirt road.  Then when they woke up this morning, they went four wheeling and it started to snow.  So they got in the car to come home, and it was a white out down the  mountain.  Right after they finally got to the highway, the road they had been on was shut down.  That was a close one!  They call themselves "adventurous".  Funny boys.  Jasmine and I stayed at home where it FINALLY GOT COLD!  We were so excited today to actually wear long pants.  But we were wimps as we  went out into the 60 degree weather and our teeth were chattering.  Whatever, Aeropostal had some great deals for $2.99 and $5.99.  Love that!  Jasmine had also decided to stay home with me from camping since she had to help set up the school book fair.  She is on the leadership committee so she gets to help with all that good stuff.  As for my lame health, I am still getting better.  It has been four weeks now since the surgery.  I feel a little back to normal, but not completely.  That won't come until I get another surgery for this cyst and all the other crap.  I am about to go on the drug Lupron and see if it will shrink my endo crap in three months.  Then go for the surgery.  I am not looking forward to that since it will send me into medical menopause.  Fun journey ahead of me...don't be jealous.  Haha.  I miss you all terribly.  Love you tons, Tracy

This Baby is the last...

I just got the news that I have gestational diabetes, again. :( So, I'm back on a low carb diet and exercise with hopes I don't have to take medication or insulin. I guess I won't have problems getting my girlish figure back for a wedding I'm standing up in next May. :) I don't want to deal with GD a third time around, so Baby Girl Stoffers will be the last.
