She can hang from the bars and walk to beam pretty good. We are enjoying pre summer fun and like to stay outside as long as we can before it gets too hot!! She is oure little happy feet we call her!

Saturday in Brighton

We had a great time with everyone out in Brighton last weekend. It was nice to hang with the family for the day. Derek came back sun burned and Mikey took a LONG nap after playing all day in the sun.

Hey! Jessie's in town from Mexico and all of us will be in Hillsdale for Jasmine's graduation from HS this weekend. Can you believe it? Wow... time flies.

Mikey's been helping me in my garden... mostly eating dirt. God made dirt and dirt don't hurt, right?

Our new Saturday family activity is riding bikes across town to the park. Darius rides his bike, Eli is hooked up to Jarom, and I take Charlise in a kiddie trailer on the back of my bike. The kids love it! Darius says I drive to slow, but whatever. I enjoy the ride. He's all about winning the race. Everything is a race. :)

They grow too fast!

As I am registering Kyree for kindergarten, I stop and think..."I am not ready for this." Seriously, I cannot believe that my little baby boy (who was never really that little) is ready to ride the bus to school every day. Wow. What a mess I am going to be on his first day of school, poor kid.

Then Matt & I were flipping through some "old" pictures of Marley and we are both stunned at how much she has already changed. She has gone from that super feisty alien baby, to the sweet plump stubborn baby girl that we love so much now! I cannot believe she is almost 5 months old, and that we have already packed away so many clothes she can't fit any more.

Life comes at you fast, that is for sure.

So for Memorial weekend we are laying low. Matt works long days, so sometimes he doesn't even get to see the kids. So we decided to stay home and have fun together. We have started to till the ground for our veggie garden. We hope to finish it up and plant everything on Saturday. We are growing soybeans, squash, carrots, radish, broccoli, & corn. Wish us luck. Ky loves it too. He keeps bugging me to let him help finish the garden. We are teaching him about self reliance, something our church is pushing us hard to do right now. And as we watch all the natural disasters & wars going on in the world, we know we need to get busy. We all need to be ready for the unexpected. Grow a garden. Keep cash on hand. Store enough extra groceries to get you by for at least 3 months. You never know what we could face, so we need to prepare the best we can.

Lastly, we rented a Star Wars game for our XBox 360...and I think I love it more than Ky. You should have seen how mad I got when he accidentally erased the games we had saved! It got ugly. But we are back at it and I hope we can beat the game soon. Life with a boy is funny...my days are all about fighting the bad guys, being superheros, or pretending we are Star Wars...I am always Princess Laya & Ky is always "Dark Vader." Gotta love it. I can't wait until Marley grows up and I get some girlie variety in my life!

Wow, Jamie! 33 Weeks! It's going really fast... but I guess I'm not the one pregnant :)

We had a great time up north. Here are a couple pics from our vacation. Once Mikey got used to all the noise in the waterpark, he loved to play in the pools and go down the little waterslides. He also slept in the bottom bunk of a bunk bed and didn't fall out!

So I am 33 weeks.....i don't think it is possible for me to get any bigger! Lets hope, because I am sooooo ready to have this baby. I almost have everything in order, but it seems their is always something to do!! London is great, still in love with Elmo and enjoys her new piano Elmo book, so do I when we are driving and Zac is kicking the crap out of me!! Probably not safe.

I JUST LOVE MY JOB....

Hey Mommas,

I love my job with a passion, but it looks like I am going to be going at it full time starting next week.  The good thing is it is only for three weeks, until school is out.  Erica has decided to only work half days next week and then be done since she is due to have her baby the day school lets out.  Poor girl can't even see her ankles.  I am surprised she is even in school right now.  So, I am going to have to start getting to bed earlier so I can put in full days for a while.  Joy.  I am not excited about it, but I will adjust.  Plus it isn't like there is any heavy lessons going on this last month of school.  And you will all be so proud of me, I am typing this to you from a computer IN MY FAMILY ROOM!  Hurrah, no more office computer.  Jason hooked it up for Mother's day and Jasmine wants to get ahold of this thing so badly, but I have to hook up the Net Nanny thing first.  I will work on that tonight.

Happy Mothers Day! I had a really good day. LuLu took Kirstynn & me to get pedicures...loved that idea! Kirstynn talked me into black polish, and I LOVE it! I am going to do Marley's the same. Then mom took me shopping for a new outfit. Cute black dress & leggings...hope I am not too old to pull that off?! Matt got up with the kids & make me chocolate chip pancakes...my favorite! After church, he and Dad make a great fish dish...and they even did the dishes. I wasn't sure of what to do with myself, since you all know how freakish I am about cleaning. But I stepped back & let them give us a relaxing day. I hope that everyone had a wonderful day!

Mikey's back to himself... not a sign of being sick. He loves feeding himself. If we give him food on a fork, he'll spit it into his hand, then put it back in his mouth by himself... whatever. Mikey and I went to Hillsdale for a couple days. He had fun with Grandpa and Ama Jean. My dad took him for a ride in his golf cart. He LOVED that. The 3 of us are headed to Traverse City next weekend for some R and R. We're staying at the Great Wolf Lodge... they have an indoor waterpark. Mikey's never been swimming, so it'll be interesting to see how he likes the water. I bought the cutest swim trunks for him, but their huge and almost reach his ankles. Oops.

CRAZINESS IN VEGAS

Oh snap, I am trying to learn how to blog! Alie is gonna help me through it. There is nothing but love and peace in the air here..kind of! Jason and I just went to our first consult with a new fertility doctor and are jumped on the long road to invitrofertilization. Wow that is a long word! This doctor we found seems great because she wants to test my lining and junk. Call me if you want details since not everyone loves to hear about that. Anyways, I am not getting my hopes up, but I am happy we found this doctor and Jason really likes her too. My kids are growing like weeds!!! What is up with this preteen stuff? Ross all of a sudden wants new shirts while we were in the mall the other day. I had to take him to Tilly's but told him we would be going to TJmax from then on. And Jasmine thinks she is old enough to shop at Aeropostal! Geez. I need some little babies around here. But it is all fun. Jason decided to take Ross camping last night, so Jasmine and I went to get a california roll and then to Target. She said it was the best night ever. Oh, we got frozen yogurt too. Then went home and fell asleep in front of a movie. BRATZ movie of course...NOTHING like the cartoon. Dangit, my computer is about to shut down. OK, I'll sign in! It's nuts over here. We're going from doctor to doctor, IEP meetings to Parent Conferences trying to figure out our kids! We've had about 2 to 3 appointments per week. Then we had a baby shower here on Friday, friends over for dinner on Sunday, Jarom and I both taught lessons at church on Sunday, an autism training class Monday night, HOA meeting Tuesday night, and there's a church RS meeting at my house tonight. INSANITY!!! But, Darius is on Ritalin for the third day and it's working GREAT!!! Yeah for drugs!! Was this message too depressing? I'll make it funny next time!! Love you guys! I'm so glad Mikey doesn't have measles!!! Polly with the Root Beer was killin' me!! Love you all!!!

Marley Jane is 4 months old

Here is Marley, she is 13 lbs 1 oz & 24 inches. She just started blowing rasberries today, so messy but so cute! She is still fiesty, but really such a good baby! We miss you all!

I can't watch her every second, and this is what happens when I walk away...Root Beer gets put into what ever she is eating at the time. She says it adds flavor? Maybe it does. So I am having a lulled moment here & wanted to take advantage of it. Ky is resting in my bed. Last night he went to the pool with his LuLu & his friend Ryan. He LOVES to swim, and he got home & in bed around 9:30...so he is so so tired. Polly is in her room mad cause Ky is mad at her? It is a vicious cycle in this house. Marley is taking her last nap of the day. She is suppose to nap from 5-7, but she almost always wakes up screaming around 6. She is one feisty mother, that is for sure.

My man gets home early tonight, which is so nice. I feel like I never see him. He works so hard for us...what a man! I love him so much & am so blessed to have him. Ok, I will stop with all that mushy stuff...bllahhh.

Things are moving along here in Utah! I am DONE being pregnant but waiting patiently for the little guy to come. London is still miss independent! She is talking a lot, and is a total toddler now. We still have our house up for sale. Hopefully soon, because i found a home i really want to buy! So say a little prayer for us in this crazy market. Matt is worken hard and the buisness is doing great.

Not a statistic...

Mikey doesn't have the measles! Yippee! He did have a virus that caused the rash and has to have blood work done next week to make sure he's back to normal.

So, there are some things we miss in Utah...

Just wanted to send an old skool shout-out to my loved ones in Utah. Jamie, we miss you (and ur people) like crazy. Sometimes we wonder why we needed to leave Utah, and since we still dont have a "solid answer," it is easy to wonder what if... But we are where we were told to be, so it must work out somehow. I miss our stupid spin class that you made me take. I miss going to the pool every chance we could get. I miss Matthew yelling at Ky, then giving him candy to make him happy. Sad times...

And Utah also brought me one of my best friends...Hayley. I love that girl (her kid Owen is in the pic with Ky). We had so much fun hanging out with her family. It was nice to meet some "normal mormons" in Utah. American Fork sucked, except for her! We miss you guys too!

Measles?

Thanks for posting pictures! I love those kids. We really miss them.

So, Mikey may have the Measles. Yikes. He got a rash after his fever, so I took him to the doctor. We're having blood work done to see if it's the measles. His immune system took a pretty big hit, so we're laying low for the next 4-5 days. I'll take him for more blood work next Tuesday to make sure his white blood cell count goes back to normal. He's been a trooper. Pray for us :)
