Happy New Year!

So here are my cuties! We r almost settled in...but still seems like so much to do. Quiet holiday for us. Just did the in law family thing and no drama thank goodness. Had some crazy snow storms though. London finally likes Zac..you can see her trying to give him a kiss. He is in love with her. Lights up when she comes bouncing in.

WHAT A YEAR!  I am so done with it.  This Christmas has been so tough, I have to say, hug your children today!  Our friend's son just passed away on Monday and it has all brought up so many emotions.  Children are a treasure, even though they may not seem like it some of the time.  You put all your love and knowledge into these little ones and then you never know when they can be taken from you. When you are at your wits end and want to quit your job as a parent, remember how it felt when you  held them as a baby and they slept in your arms.  I love you all and miss you all so flippen much!  Have a Happy New Year, this one's got to be better!  T

Happy Christmas

Christmas is almost here and I am so so so excited, this is my favorite time of year. Right now Ky is gone, visiting "the other side." This house is so empty without him. We miss him terribly. Marley is crabby without him...we need him back. It sucks not being able to have your child close, to keep him safe. I have to put this one in Heavenly Fathers hands, and his are pretty reliable.

With the joy of Christmas comes the reality of life for our family this year. Mattson has had the pleasure of getting to know all four of his grandparents, and having them in his life for all of his 28 years. Earlier this year he lost his Grandpa, and now his Pepe is probably not going to make it much longer. Death has always been a part of life, but it still stinks. It does help you appreciate all you have. It makes me want to hug my family a little tighter at night, and make sure they know how much I love them. I am so blessed with a wonderful family. My husband is too good to me. My kids love me even when I am crazy. My parents (and in-laws) support everything I do. My sisters and brothers are some of the best friends I have ever had. I am blessed, and oh so thankful for all I have. Merry Christmas! We love and miss everyone!

Love this one of my three little cuties! Jarom made another amazing Turkey last week! I'm totally spoiled. I haven't once had to cook the turkey, thank goodness!
After explaining what the word "stocking" meant, Eli put all the stockings on his feet. A little too literal. Poor Charlise got the Karate Chop kick in this shot. She's gonna be tough w/ a big brother like Eli.

I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving. We went to Texas for a long weekend with my parents, Jasmine, Jessie and Scott. It was really relaxing and the weather was pretty nice. We were all happy to run around outside without coats on for a couple days.

We put our Christmas tree up on Sunday. Derek taught Mikey a new trick. Mikey likes to crawl under the tree and get tickled by the branches.

CRAZY KID!

So far, Ky is the funniest kid I have ever met! He says the most off the wall stuff. Matt & I are always laughing when he is around (unless we are busy beating him :) ). So, when I dared him to run around the outside of the house in his boots, hat, and underware...he was up for the challenge. CRAZY KID!

Sorry it has been a while...we r all moved into our new house (pics comming soon) but things have been super crazy. This was at Cornbellys, a fun farm / pumpkin place for the kids.

The Cold Season is here...

The fall weather is why I think I can stand Michigan (I really hate the winters here). The trees are amazing, and I love breaking out my jeans and light jackets! With this comes our yearly visit to the local apple orchards. We made it out there a little late this year, but still got to enjoy one last fall moment. We walked around the petting farm with our hot cider and donuts...it doesn't get better than that!

Kyree is still loving his school experience. He is doing really well in his class and has made a lot of friends. I still have to work really hard to get any information out of him, his life is quite the secret...and I am the nosey mom trying to get all the details.

Marley is almost 11 months now. She crawls around like crazy and is into everything! She keeps me busy for sure. Her bottom two teeth finally broke through. She has to be pretty tough to put up with Ky...and she is up for the challenge. I have to almost pin her down to change her diaper and to get her into the car seat. Karma is a biotch.

Weekend from Hell

(this picture is how I felt for the past 5 days) Wanna hear about my weekend from hell? Jarom had to go out of town for business Saturday, returning home last night. Well, Saturday NIGHT, the hot water heater breaks AND the dishwasher breaks. On top of it all, I was starting my new teaching job on Monday (YEAH!), and had to do the whole daycare thing as well. Normally, Jarom would take the kids to school each morning. But since he was out of town, I had to a ask a friend to come over to our house for 3 days at 6:30 every morning and do the kids daily morning routines. Fun. With loads of laundry everywhere, dirty dishes all over the kitchen, a messy house, and bags under my eyes from no sleep, I told Jarom if he ever goes on a business trip again - expect a note when he gets home!!!! JK Talk about bad timing. When it rains, it poors. On a positive note, teaching is going GREAT!!!! LOVE my little 4th grade class. It's pretty fun to be teaching again!

We all had a great time visiting Utah for 3 days for Laurel's wedding! The kids were all in pink for the reception and temple picture. Eli goes," I can't wear pink, Mommy. That's a girl color." Jarom tried telling him that only really strong men can wear pink.

Snow!

Mikey woke up from his nap yesterday and was so excited to see snow. He LOVES the snow. Today he kept saying "snow" "ball" and "dada." He wasn't happy with me today when I didn't let him play outside. He laid down on the kitchen floor and wouldn't move.

The dog barking in the background is our neighbor's dog, Riley. We have to go out and buy a sled this weekend. It's supposed to snow more this week. It's going to be a fun winter!

I scheduled my c-section. The next niece will be born February 16th, unless I go into labor before. 3 more months!

So sorry to be a blog hog, but I got these pics from Jason's friends that he works with. Jason and I were so lucky to be able to go to the Ronald MacDonald House charity dinner. His boss had bought a table, so we went and had some fun. AND there is a new Alyssa's Bridal and Formal dress shop up the road from me, so I got to get a new dress. Felt like I was going to prom and I LOVED my dress, even though I may never ever fit it again (haha). Love you guys!

Keeping me busy

Halloween is such a busy time of the year when you have kids! Two parties at school, one at church, and then trick or treats on Halloween...I am worn out. Thank goodness I have my man back to share the load with! Here are some pics of Princess Laya and Anikin Skywalker enjoying the season!

Not much new to report

Hey All! I hope you had a good Halloween! Tracy, the pics were great :) And Shelby, it looks like you had a great visit with Grammy :) We miss her, too.

Mikey's doing well... growing fast! He such a little boy. He's so independent. He's talking a lot - and saying words clearer. It's great to hear his little voice... and everything is a question to him. It's pretty funny. Here's a little video of his latest little trick.



Derek's busy, as usual. He's "Golden Boy" at work, for now. I guess that's a good thing.

I'm now 24 weeks. I'm watching my belly move as I type. My gestational diabetes is now being controlled with diet, exercise and medicine. We're hoping this will work, but my hormones still have a lot of changing to do the next few months. At my last appointment my doctor gave me the scheduler's phone number, so I can schedule my c-section. Now that's CRAZY! Any time February 16th or after. Wow!

Happy Halloween!!!

Ahhhhhh, my computer is finally working!  It has been like two weeks since my special internet has been down or REALLY slow, and now it is okay.  I am so happy.  You don't know how much you use it until you CAN'T for such a period of time.  Thank goodness it is back.  It has been one crazy Halloween week!  We had our church Trunk or Treat on tuesday night which was really fun but wore me the heck out!  We had booths and cake walks in the gym and after that, a costume contest, then trunk or treating.  Luckily our primary was only in charge of two booths, so we had it pretty easy.  Jason and Ross didn't dress up that night, but by the trunk or treat time, Ross had found someone with fake blood to put on his face and shirt.  He is definitly in the teen years with not caring about a costume at all.  Jasmine however, was all about it and had a rough time finding an "appropriate" costume in her size.  Even all the teenage costumes were "hoochie" which is now her new favorite word to say.  I finally agreed to a little girls ladybug costume, and after she got it on, she looked pretty cute, yet grown up.  Crap.  What can ya do.  Today Jason is off to do a charity halloween thing with his work all day.  Ross and his Mom's family have taken off to Disneyland for the Halloween fun there and tonight Jasmine and I and Jason will yes, go from door to door and trick or treat.  Our good friends Nita and her daughter Madeline will be with us.  I so wish I could see all my nieces and nephews tonight in their little costumes.  NO FAIR!  Miss you all.
