More September Pics

--The sunset is on the cruise, looking out our balcony window. We read books, played games, and just sat outside alot! It was amazing!
--Tracy & Family, along with Mom came out for Darius' baptism. It was SO fun having them here for his special day! And Mom gave an awesome talk on Baptism, too!
--Darius was just smiling ear to ear at his baptism. It went really well. As a family, we sang "I Am a Child of God" in Japanese and English. Little did we know we had a superstar on our team - Charlise just BELTED out the words to both verses and shocked everyone. She had no fear! Eli gave us some good laughs during Mom's talk.
--Jodee and Gary stayed with our Kiddies while we went on the cruise. It was so great of them to do that so we could have a MUCH needed break!

September Fun

1. The kids started school on Sept. 10th! They love it and so do I!!!!!
2. Our 12th anniversary gift to each other was a cruise . . . BEST GIFT EVER!!!
3. We flew up to Vancouver Cananda, toured the city for a day, then boarded the boat. The boat sailed for 3 days, non-stop, back into L.A. Just what we needed - lots of rest!

Zac's Girl

My baby is 6! So crazy! This has been a wild week for me too. Ky and I watch "the Cake Boss" on TLC together. So, he asked if I could make him a DS cake for his birthday. So, I thought I could talk Dana into helping me...truth is, she did most of the cake ALL BY HERSELF. Thank goodness Ky has a LuLu who loves him & will do anything for him. Here is the final product! It looked so cool. Pretty good for our first cake together. It is all edible. The back is made out of rice krispy treats & the bottom is chocolate cake. We "dirty iced" it, and then added fondant. The screen was made out of a melted sugar mix. I am pretty proud of the final product!

On Saturday, we went to Red Robin (Ky's choice) for dinner. It was so fun, and so crazy. There was LuLu, Papa, Laurel, Nathan, Alex, Sam, JoJo, Rowan, Katie, Matt, Avery, Mattson, Marley, Jake (Ky's best pal from school), Ky & I. Thank goodness that restaurant is super loud.

Little Lemur

Derek thinks Katie looks like a lemur with her BIG eyes...

It was a busy week last week for Jazzy. Jason took her and I out on the Seadoo's along the Colorado River just past the Hoover Dam and we LOVED it! The water was ice cold, but clear as river water only can be and fun!

She also tested for her black stripe on her red belt in Tae Kwon Do and passed the test! I am so stinkin proud of her because the stuff she is doing is not easy. Her next belt is a black belt but that is a little bit of a ways off. She has a lot of work to do to get that one!

Last but definitely not least, she is on the basketball team for church and scored 2 of the 5 baskets for her team. She is a great little shooter and I wish she would sign up for her school team, but no such luck. She wants to be on the dance team instead and hopes to try out for that sometime next week. Sorry about the blurry picture. She didn't want me there to watch much less take a picture. Sad me.

BIG BOY BED!!!!

Mikey's Big Boy Bed was delivered on Tuesday. Yippee! We finally graduated him from the toddler/crib bed to a twin :) He did a good job sleeping in it Tuesday, but was playing around during his nap yesterday and fell out. Now he has a big bruise/scrape on his forehead. Ouch! Time to get those guard rails.

LABOR DAY WEEKEND FUN

Well, the last holiday of summer came and went with a quickness. We had the Wolfley family stay with us the entire time and had so much fun with them. They played games and won these glasses they are posing in and Jamie and her posse drove up to eat and play with us also.
It was a super nice day and we barbecued steaks and hot dogs in between all the cheesy games I made the children play. Matt decided to join in when they broke out the giant kickball, but Jamie had the kids waiting in the car ready to leave with or without him since both of her kids were done by that point. PS... never seen a baby eat steak like Zac did!
Before all that, (this was suppose to be the first picture) Jason and I ran the Swiss Days 10K race in our little town of Midway. I honestly didn't think Jason would make it all the way through since he hadn't trained at all for it, but wouldn't you know he finished 10 flippen minutes ahead of me. Oh well, I was just happy to have made it to the finish line. Love and miss you all! T

Happy Birthday Derek!

Derek had a nice, quiet birthday. He took the afternoon off. He watched a movie while Mikey napped and I did errands with Katie. We had vietnamese food for dinner - his choice, then had cake. Mikey enjoyed the candles this year.

Now he has a year to prepare for his 4-0 CELEBRATION!
