Summer Fun

So for some reason it would not let me comment next to my pics?? So here goes....London at a birthday party with her "guys" or play group. Taking a swim in the sink...i needed to get some things done so it worked out good. London and Zac found the crackers and hid under the table and dumped them..or she was the instigator!! Hope everyone is enjoying their summer!!

Still alive!

Ok, I am back from YW Girls Camp! I am a big ole baby when it comes to camping, but I really had a good time! Our girls are so wonderful! There was NO drama & everyone had an awesome time. I am truly blessed to be a part of it! The first night the leaders got to do a "ropes course." So, it looked pretty cool from the ground, and then when I got up to the top (30 feet) it wasn't as cool as I thought. I spent ALOT of time hugging the trees...oh well. At least I tried?! Here are a few more photos from the summer time! We miss you guys!

Staying busy this summer!

Zac is a big sucker fan...poor guy London never leaves him alone.  He really doesn't want the lip gloss!

"Uh Oh Pants!"

Derek has Mikey run down the driveway to get his newspaper. (Even in the rain... if you notice our driveway is wet.) His diaper was a little heavy and his pants started slipping off him. Derek kept saying "uh oh pants" so he'd pull them up, but he was too excited to do his morning chore to think about it.

Tigers Game!

We took the kids to their first Tigers Game, and their first trip to downtown Detroit. Mikey was amazed at all the busses we saw on the way to the game. We got tickets from Derek's company, so the game and parking were free :) Good thing since Mikey said, "all done" 1/2 way through the first inning. We made him sit and watch the Tigers bat. We walked around the ballpark for a while, then headed home. Maybe next time we'll make it through more of the game.

Fourth of July!

We had a very relaxing July 4th. Jessie spent a week with us and we didn't want her to leave. It was so much fun having her back in town. Derek got a much needed 3 day weekend with the holiday and spent a lot of time resting and playing with the kids.

We went to a 4th of July parade at the town just north of us. Mikey loved the fire trucks. We thought about Jason and his trucks. Maybe we'll make it out some time to check those out!

Another "mother-of-the-year" award picture. Check out the crazy 3 three old roasting a marshmallow on the bonfire - unsupervised. Guess who ALMOST got burned in this picture?! (hint - it wasn't Charlise!) We had a backyard "smores" party with some of our friends from church.
