Just a few giggles

Katie loves being tickled. When she's tired, she gets slap happy and will give out some really good belly laughs. Here she is a couple weeks ago before her bath.

It's Potty Time!

We started potty training Mikey this week. We heard from several people that potty training him outside would be pretty easy. So on Sunday we let him run around without pants. He's checking out his wagon, without his pants on. Then he decided to mark his territory. Yes, the puddle in the garage is courtesy of our little sprinkler.




We call Katie "Katydid" when she's asleep like this... just like a bug in a rug.

Happy Birthday Eli!

As Jamie said, this is a step up from Eli's first birthday where we just stuck a candle in a cookie!! Can you believe we made this sucker!!!?? Okay, it didn't taste quite as good as the ones from Mrs. Fields, but the kids didn't care. They loved it!
When the boys went to school, Charlise was dead set on going with them (even though she leaves a few hours later). Notice her shorts - she was so proud that she put them on all by herself. Too bad she didn't QUITE get it right - both legs are in one hole and she looks like she has a tail in back.

SHAVING CREAM FIGHT.....

Nothing like a good ole shaving cream fight to spice up things!  The Wolfley family came in town for a couple of days and we couldn't pass up the chance to spray everyone down with some shaving cream.  All the kids wore goggles, so their eyes stayed a little protected.  After hosing them down afterwords, they jumped in the hot tub.  What fun!  I only got covered ever so slightly from shaving cream hugs given to me by Ross and Jasmine.  

June '09

Darius had his school field trip to the LA Science Center. Charlise and the boys did their little hip hop recitals for us. Eli did really well with the routine, but Darius and Charlise just looked, um, cute. Not quite their thing. We also met up with ALL of Jarom's family in Vegas for 2 days. It was fun to visit with everyone. Tracy was an angel to watch all 9 kids while we had an adult lunch at Todai's. Poor Tracy, they all decided to poop during those couple of hours while at her house! Thanks again, Trace!!!

Trip to Traverse City

Last weekend we went to Traverse City and stayed at Great Wolf Lodge. We had a great time once Mikey figured out there was more fun to the vacation than the hotel elevator. We had great weather, so we got to swim outside and catch some rays. Katie wore her cute little tankini from Auntie Alison. She was too cute! On Saturday and Sunday morning we went to Cinch Park. It has a park, beach and marina and a train that goes around the park. We rode the train 3 times over the weekend. Mikey loved it. He kept saying "puff puff chugga chugga". That's the name of one of his favorite books. Hope you're enjoying your summer! Miss you all.

LIfe in the fast lane...

Hmmmm, still can't get this thing to let me type under each picture.  Jazz did super great in her dance recital. Wish you guys could have seen her. The yellow costume is by far,our 

favorite one of them all.  She is an amazing  dancer.  NO FAIR that Jason and Ross got to go to an actual NY Yankees baseball game this past weekend.  They had a flippen GREAT time though.  Said it was well worth every cent.  And they also hit up the Ripley's Believe it or Not museum, which is where the picture of Jason with the iron mask on his face is from.

Sorry I have been out of touch! I just have not been in the mood to be on the computer at all! Things are good here. Ky's last day of school is tomorrow. We need to fill our summer up with plans or I may go crazy.

Kyree just earned his new Tae Kwon Do belt (yellow with black stripe)

Marley is talking ALOT! Already driving me crazy!

But Ky gets the award for most questions asked in one day...man he is so inquisitive!

Marley learned how to bite to show her anger.

Ky can properly use the phrase: "pissed off" in a sentence.

Matt is busy working two jobs this summer.

I am busy trying not to bang my head against a wall at any given moment...just joking (?)

Mother of the Year!

So here is my big guy always crawling around! Such a happy kid! Princess on the Potty for sure, so is doing great with potty training...almost ready to go out in public!

So i was on a walk with the kids and London wanted to ride on top of the stroller....ya bad idea. She fell off and hit the pavement!! I felt so bad so this is my mother of the year award...don't need anymore thank you.

Memorial Day Weekend

Rode a train at a Train Museum! Kids loved it!! (Me too, since the kids were sitting down for an extended amount of time! A whole 10 minutes!!!!!)
Also took them to the La Brea Tar Pit Museum. Lots of stuff on prehistoric animals. Kids kept referring to the movie "Ice Age." Thank goodness for good, educational movies! ha ha.
Loved this one. Notice the "Keep off" sign? I have SUCH obedient children!
This was an awesome Train park! Best part, aside from the 10 minute train ride, was that it was free!!!!!
